This one was a little unclear. Don and I discussed whether or not this challenge meant our favorite comic book character, favorite comic/comedian, or that we had to make one up ourselves. I needed a good laugh, so I chose door #3. To honor the release of The Hunger Games on DVD this week, here’s a bit of bad drawing and even worse poetry. You’re welcome. (Click on the pic to enlarge.)
I think my kids have dropped out of the challenge.
Go give some blog love to my friends over at:
Great comic! I LOLed.
Was shocked to log on and see your day 13 post – I just woke up and am having my coffee, which means it can’t have been day 13 for you for much longer than a couple hours. Impressive. Way to stay on top of it.
Really disappointed not to see anything new from your kids though. I was really enjoying their participation.

I’m only on top of it because my insomnia has reared its ugly head. 😦 I think the kids will join again. They just need to skip “turning point in your life”. That’s a hard one when you’re a pre-teen.

Why do the vampires sparkle? Having never seen those movies (cuz vampires…ewww) I just don’t get it. I do get the cartoon tho. Very creative!

Sparkling vampires is a Twilight reference. In the Twilight novels, vampires sparkle in the sun which would easily give their identity away. They don’t avoid daylight all together, just the sunny days. It’s why they live in an area that is overcast most of the time. Geez, long explanation. 😉

That last comment was from your friendly neighborhood freebie. Ugh. ‘somebody’ signed me out and I didn’t check before hitting post.
