We’re packing the van and headed for the hills…well…the mountains. The rest of the week will be spent with Benny’s family. My MIL is hosting 4 families including ours. The cousins will get to play, there will be games with prizes, LOTS of food, target practice (seriously), and hiking up gramma’s mountain behind her house. I think I’ll bring my latest writing project so I can avoid that particular activity. 🙂 After the extended relatives leave on Friday, the Nowell/Miller clan will be celebrating our Christmas gift exchange. The inlaws will be in TX for the month of December so this is our last chance for all of us to be together for awhile. It’s a rare opportunity, so I savor it when it happens.
I hope your holiday is filled with family and friends, good food, and a thankful spirit for all that we are blessed with this year. The blessings are many! Count them, and don’t forget to bless someone else too.
Best wishes, safe travels, happy trails, sayonara, adios, ciao, and see you back here next week!
Have a blessed Thanksgiving. My life has been enriched with your friendship.
