Sometimes I Write

I cut this out of the newspaper last week for my friend McNair, whose celebrating a birthday today. He is the one who first told me it was o.k. to be a doodler, dreamer, and to let my creativity explode out of me. I quoted him in a previous post or two. He says, “If you don’t do you, you doesn’t get done and creation is incomplete”. He was absolutely right! It’s a lesson we all need to learn and let it sink into not only our brains but our hearts.

To honor McNair, I want to send you over to his blog and his website. He’s a dynamic human being, speaker, entertainer, humorist, author, cartoonist, inspiration to many, and creative genius. Go show him some love on his special day. While you’re at it, think of the people in your own life who inspire you and challenge you to call forth your creative self, and email them a note of thanks for being who they are.
