I’m feeling much better today and finally out of bed. I thought I’d post something to make you smile. 🙂 A week of me being in bed gave Benny a run for his money. He was talking to his brother on the phone this morning and told him that if I ever die, he’s marrying the first woman he meets. He said he didn’t want the family to get mad, but he just can’t do the whole single father thing. Should I feel good knowing that I’m greatly needed and that life without my help is difficult? Or should I be offended that I could so easily be replaced? lol
Turkey day is over for you, but I have a special dinner to plan, pies to bake, and many, many things to be thankful for. I’m going to celebrate with my family, then get working on those Christmas cards.
Happy Monday Friends!
Glad to know you’re feeling much better, but I don’t believe you could be easily replaced.

Girl, that is just desperation talking. AS IF you could be easily replaced. Benny knows that too – that is why he is so anxious to have you back.:)
Now, take it easy and don’t go wild because you may take some time to get all your energy back. Praying for you. (((h)))

I think it is good ever so often for our families to realize exactly how much we do! I am glad you are finally feeling better. If you have a moment to offer a prayer for my Mom I would really appreciate it!

Benny was joking of course. It IS nice to be appreciated though. Michelle, I just prayed for your mom. 🙂

I have said I didn’t want to marry again, because I didn’t want to train another. But the loneliness and work with children…. I could see Benny hiring a nanny, not marrying again. You are so very valuable, and he knows it. I bet the kids know it too.
Add my mom to your prayer list, please. She is in the hospital again. More info to come on my blog later. Thanks.

So very glad to hear you are feeling better. Take it slowly, and don’t overdo it too quickly. I also agree that is is good for hubby’s soul every now and then to walk in our shoes, and experience our daily life.

I tell my wife the same thing! Although we have an agreement that I’ll marry the first 60 year + Hispanic widow I meet. That way she has experience with children, and will love her kids, be old and in love with her first husband so understand that it is a convenience thing, and lastly able to cook me Mexican food everyday which is the one life are my wife falls painfully short in!

Oh My!! Had no idea you were sick this whole time–of course I was gone most of the week you were sick, but STILL! SO Sorry!!!!!
And I don’t think he’d really marry the first women he met. If he did, I’d have to knock some sense in his head!
