Our friends, Stephen and Lacie Hutchins, from Wichita lost their baby yesterday. Lacie was due in 3 weeks with their first child. The baby was moving fine on Sunday night, then yesterday there was no movement. When they went to the doctor, the Dr. couldn’t find a heartbeat. A sonogram showed that that baby had died. She is at the hospital right now having her labor induced. Please pray for this young couple as they endure today’s events and the sorrowful days ahead. I am confident that Jesus is holding them and that they are surrounded by those who love them.
It seems this family is either experiencing great joy or great loss. Three weeks ago Lacie’s younger sister gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Two days ago Phil (their step-dad) lost his mother. Now this. Please join me in lifting this family up before the Father. Thank You!
How tragic for them! Prayers coming their way.

Our prayers are with them today and in the next coming weeks and months. We lost our baby in May and there are still days that hurt. Please share the following with your friends as it was read at the memorial service that we had for the baby. It was written by my friend Mary McQueen for another such memorial service. It really moved me to tears, but at the same time made me feel secure in knowing that my baby is in good hands.
Angels Speak In Excited Whispers
Angels speak in excited whispers!
Another special place to be found!
ARRIVAL EXPECTED. ANYTIME NOW.
“This one is tiny!” “Really?”
“It’s my turn to take the little one to Him!”
“No, mine!” “You took the last one!”
“Shhh…The little one is sleeping.”
“Look! Look! WOW! Look how beautifully the little one is dressed!”
“Wrapped white as snow…”
“Ohh,…my…” “Feel that blanket!…Ahh!”
“What is it made of?” “Don’t you know!”
“No.” “Stupid!” “Am not!” “Shhh…”
THE STALTIEST ANGEL LIFTED THE CHILD WITH
GLOWING HANDS…
“It’s time I took this tiny one to the Master!” the angel declared.
“Ohh…”
“Michael?” “YES!” “What is the blanket made from?”
THE ANGEL LOOKED DOWN, A TEAR COURSING DOWN HIS CHEEK.
“The blanket? The blanket is woven with the LOVE of this child’s people. It is the only love this tiny one has ever known. And this special child will spend eternity wrapped securely in the blanket of their love…”
I am so sorry for them and their loss. I pray they know the love of God and that they feel His gentle arms surrounding them through this tough time.

I can’t even imagine what they’re going through. I’ve been praying for their family. I’m in Wichita, too, and even though I don’t know Stephen and Lacie, I’m willing to help however I can — if there’s anything they need…let me know.

The world is small…very small.
I saw the obituary for the Hutchins baby, and I mentioned it to my MIL. Come to find out, my MIL used to watch Lacie’s family to help her mom out. I think my MIL still keeps in touch w/ her mom.
I’m praying for them!
