I was reading Jinny’s blog today and found out that our San Antonio friends, The Shough’s need our prayers. Richard and Janet’s little boy Cameron, who is 4, is in ICU. I got off the computer and called them right away hoping to leave an encouraging message, so I was surprised that Richard answered his cell phone. Cameron has been having asthma problems, and then developed pneumonia. He also has a partially collapsed left lung. They have been in ICU since Thursday, but as of tonight Cameron is showing some improvement. They hope to be in a regular room tomorrow and think they’ll be in the hospital atleast until Tuesday.
Benny and I love this family and we ask that you join us in prayers for healing little Cameron’s body, and for peace and much comfort from God and their friends there in S.A. Richard and Janet must be exhausted, and I’m sure Caleb and Kaci (big brother and sister) are worn out from worry as well. They chose to stay behind while their friends went to Winterfest this weekend. They are great kids and theirs is a close knit family.
Thanks for the prayers and I’ll update as I get updates myself.
I will be praying. Thanks for letting us know.

Cameron is HOME!!! Praise be to our God who is so incredibly faithful!
Cameron surprised everyone with his speedy recovery. It’ll still be a week and half or so before he can go back to school, assuming he continues on this same great rate of recovery. Thankfully, Richard’s mom was able to come down to stay during this time and help out.
Cameron’s been such a little trooper. He’s a great kid. And you’re right, this is an incredible family!
