In the beginning was Adam…Copeland that is. He emails to invite me to check out his new blog, which I do. I then read everyone he links to and get hooked on Mike Cope’s blog. I am intrigued by some of the people that comment there and join the crowd. Then I start checking out their blogs too. Some stood out in my mind and they became my favorites, though they are too numerous to list here. It wasn’t very long before I began my own…MY Journey was born. One day Sandy is hitting the “Next Blog” button and stumbles onto MY Journey and leaves a comment. I reciprocated and BAM! Instant new blogging friend. By this time I’ve told everyone who would listen that I’m offically an addicted blogger and they need to read my posts. Others begin leaving comments to what I have to say, and ofcourse I link back to them. Jetty Betty begins blessing my socks off with her encouragement and soon I’m looking forward to reading her every new post and seeing her initials in my comments section. TMK found me through Adam’s blog. Another blogging sister! Yeah! Soon I’m seeing JB, TMK, and Sandy commenting on each others blogs. Adam, Brock and I are talking up blogging at camp and now Chris and Natalie have started their own blogs. Which JB is already leaving her encouragement on! Everybody sing with me…

You can never have too many friends…2 single, wonderful youth ministers, a world class traveler, a country star in the making, 2 super SAHM’s (stay-at-home-moms) – one with twins!, a newly married man and his young wife (wink wink), a preacher/college professor with quite a following, an army man and his band, a mountain mama, a college student, and the list goes on. Yep! That’s my blogging family!
It’s great to be here in the family too! Sorry I don’t comment as often as I should! How’s the boys’ Texas fundraising tour going?

Niki,
I have been reading your blog after seeing it on Adam’s list. I go to church with Adam and TMK. I too, enjoyed seeing your husband at church yesterday, although I did not get to talk with him (too many people) It was great to put faces with the names. God bless you and your sweet family, I hope you get lots of support.

Ps. Your kids are too cute!

I do have you to thank, though, for my new “blogging” friends. It’s a whole new world to me…”Thanks darlin’! :)” Oh girl, I’m so southern!

It’s a small world alright, and just think, if we take our genealogy research back far enough, we are all genetically related.
I sure enjoy your blog cousin girl!

Precious. I can just imagine you typing this being all perky and half-singing the entire entry. What a fun girl you are!
I’m assuming I’m the young wife with the (wink wink). It took me a few minutes to get the joke (I am slow at times) but how fun! That’s going to be a great joke we can share for a long time. You better believe I’m retelling that one. (especially when i’m not looking quite as young as i used to)
If I’m not the referenced young wife…then I don’t get the joke and also feel a bit silly for writing all this… 🙂
Have a great one!
