We’re off to Texas in the morning. I’m going to a success seminar for my Cyberwize business. I’m excited and nervous. Excited because we’ll be staying with our dear friends, the Gilberts, and we need their love and wisdom. Nervous because Dawna isn’t attending the seminar with me. I will be alone in a room full of strangers for two whole days. AHH! I can talk to just about anyone, but I haven’t gained my confidence with the business yet and I’m feeling a bit intimidated. I know I’ll be fine. I just like to rant and rave once in awhile.
Since we’ll be in Lubbock I was thinking about going to the hospital to visit Julie. She is the lady from Highland that was driving during the terrible accident that injured several kids and killed one, Brody Bourland. (For more info. go to www.mikecope.blogspot.com. ) The Highland family has been covered in prayer since this tragedy, and I hope if you haven’t already joined in that you will. I don’ know how she or her family would feel about me popping in. I’m a complete stranger. What do I even say? “Hi, My name is Niki and I’m one of the thousands of people that are holding you up in prayer”? I just want to show my support for her. The more I think about it, the more I think I’ll call Highland and get her info. I’ll let you know if I make it to see her.
Still waiting to hear from Denver…Still thankful for your prayers!
Have a great weekend everyone!

So did you go to the hospital while you were in Lubbock? How did that go? I think your opening line was great and would’ve been a great encouragement to me if I was the one lying in the hospital bed. You are a wonderful example of a woman of faith for me; Thank you! Annette

I did not make it to the hospital. The weekend turned out to be much busier than I had anticipated. I hear she is home now and has a long road of recovery ahead of her. My prayers are still with her.
Thank you for your support and encouragement Annette! You’re such a good friend and I miss you.
