God, you’re awesome for giving us this adventure.
Please give us safe travel to and from CO.
Thank you for the Edwards family and the many ways they bless us (like house sitting).
Lord, I’m nervous about the interviewing going on…Please calm me down.
Give me the faith I need to do what you want me to do.
Please heal my sinuses and throat.
Lord, thank you for the many friends I have and please bless their lives.
Be with Heather as she goes through her pregnancy.
Be with Jennifer as she learns how to be a mom of three boys.
Thank you for our computer and my wonderful in-laws who gifted us with it!
Watch over Angi and bring healing to her heart.
Thank you for Lennie and Laurie and the relationship you’ve helped us grow.
Pierce Mike’s heart and bring him to you. You’re the only one who can!
Thank you for Mike Cope and the many ways he challenges me to think. Let me meet him someday.
God, show me what to do and tell me what to say while we’re on the streets of Denver this week.
Please give strength and courage to the Wallaces, Goldmans, Hartnagles, Medders, and Perry.
Shut me up when you have to.
Lord, I offer you my life…Please make it worthy of the offering.
Give me the strength everyone seems to think I have.
Draw Adam even closer to you.
Thank you for my BSF lessons and the wonderful ladies in my discussion group.
Thank you for bringing Linda into my life…Show me how I can bless her like she blesses me.
Please give me rest.
I love You God!
Amen.

PS –
mike cope, although still fully human in every way, is as great of a pastor in person as he seems like in his blog. thought-provoking, yet encouraging. i was blessed to have a class with him at ACU and be a part of the Highland family for about 4 years. i’m glad that even though you’ve never met him, you are able to be blessed by the Spirit of God through him.

Good luck on your new adventure! I’m sorry I didn’t see you while I was in Kansas for Christmas. I called and missed you, but you are in my prayers. Get in touch when you can. I’ve enjoyed reading your blog. -Keri
